The study of the purpose of the fortification system relies on the conceptual solution of the system of the lifts of Architect Nikola Bašić, physically connects and unites the historical unity with the contents. With the greater involvement of the construction of the buried tennis / sports arena in the pits of the fortress of St. John and accompanying contents on the polyvalent space of the fort; minimal interventions in the other parts of the fortification system and the tennis center at Šubićevac would get satisfactory conditions for organizing sports attractions.
St. Mihovila with the existing auditorium would be a place for a tennis field for exercises, trainings and events such as Kid's Day. At Baron there would be public / entertainment activities of day and night character.
The attractiveness of this event would create a new city identity and encourage the use of existing resources. It would also be a major incentive for investments in the old core and an accelerated process of restoration and maintenance of historic heritage.
