Boutique hotel

The orientation of the microlocation is two-sided with a view to the north and the light of the sun in the south. The monolithic volume is intertwined with motives of opposites transformed into designed architectural elements. The massive element of the exterior behind the main façade changes the fragility of the covered outdoor spaces, the pool area, and the atrium with the mulberry tree. The calculations of the fall of the sun's rays set openings on the south facade, and protect the building from the heat in the summer months, and in the winter the sun penetrates to the living spaces of the building at a lower level.

Courtyard house

On the gentle slopes above the popular summer resort, adapting to the character of the investor, the design of intimate spaces is approached. Respecting the paradigm of the sea view as the leitmotif of the house, new attractions are created in the core of the building. The horizon becomes part of the house and spread to the very core.

Country house

Country house in a suburban area of the continental part of Dalmatia. The stone and glazed base of the ground floor carries the “corten” volume of the first floor. The house resists the climatic cruelty of the surrounding ambience with traditional and modern stone and corten materials with the role of strengthening the envelope in terms of energy and aesthetics. The eccentricity of the corten is calmed by selecting neutral colors and materials in the pool and landscaping.

Brightside

Residential complex of two villas in the hinterland of Rogoznica with panoramic views.
Is located near a small village characterized by introverted family houses with shredded volumes. An integral part of the concept is the interpretation of Mediterranean elements and content into a modern architectural expression. Each of the villas takes on the concept of an attractive approach to homes through the surroundings of different yard typologies.

Comunnity Centre Solin

The space of the tender field is surrounded by distorted urbanism with traces of attempts at urban moves, creating an inconsistent spatial collage without clear aspirations for spatial expansion and communication lines. Consistency and awareness of the environment is reflected in the magnetic attraction of the Jadro River. All the more lenient orientation of public and private space near the river confirms its importance for the narrower and wider environment.

The direction of the Jadro River stretches from the northeast to the southwest and marks the only linear continuity in the narrower area. Occasional bridges over the river are just part of an organism lacking a more concrete definition of an urban matrix.

Analysis of the wider area of the city of Solin indicates the scattered and concentrated representation of public gatherings in the area.

The river Jadro passes in the immediate vicinity of the southern part of the land, separated from the existing post office building, ie by road. The conceptual design of the river Jadro becomes part of the future building of a cultural center with its own square and park. By the linear organization of the area, the water stream is physically stalled, but it is revitalized in the space of a new urban center.

PANORAMA HOUSE

For a villa on a very steep terrain with a height difference of 25 meters and a narrow panoramic front of at least 7 meters, except basic housing the project task also required garage, wellness and connecting all floors with elevator.
Due to the narrow configuration of a building plot, the project decision is the vertical expansion of the volume with the interstitial microenvironments providing an attractive southern orientation to all parts of the house.

Apartment building Gračani

Residential building on the slopes of Medvednica in a quiet area of Zagreb. It is surrounded by a gentle landscape enriched with greenery, the south-west stream Ribnjak and natural slopes. The main ambition of the house is to adapt and orient the living rooms to the natural landscape postcards in the surroundings. Architectural forms allow the intimate interiors of each housing unit, while not losing high quality visibility and lighting of indoor spaces.

Šibenik old city revitalization

The spatial position of the Old Bazaar location in the view from the bird's eye view is in
the center of town. It is characteristic of being located in the area of the medieval ruined city rampart (the end of the city), which once existed and represents the boundary between two buildings:

-stare nuclei (mostly built during the Venetian rule)

-the newest eastern part of the city Varoš (the beginning of expansion in this area was noted during industrialization in the 19th century)

In the existing bakery complex, the largest building volume is located in the north-east, south-west direction.

The public contents that Sibenik had throughout history should be re-located on the old core premises. Revitalization is a process that needs to identify strategic goals and measures and gradually, step by step, access the return of public functions.

In the first stage of recovery, the content of the retail market at the Old Bazaar could begin the recovery of the old part of the city and its devastated streets.

What is the culture of living in a historic urban cultural heritage? Why do we ignore the cultural heritage? What are the possibilities of her coexistence with modern human needs? Why do we only aspire to megalomanian urban projects, disregarding the existing available resources? Is it possible to affirm the existing neglected urban entities? Destruction of real estate is the seizure and relocation of functions. Is it all just a "pile of stones"? The backdrop of history is the loss of identity! Is it?

Borgo 2.0

Physically, each space is part of a continuous line of the Earth's surface. Superstudio in the Continous monument project utilizes grid grids as a cloak that would make the whole world perishable. The entire coverage is viewed as a space with articulation of its surface depending on the required content and making space active in use. The result of city centered uniformity in this solution is the unification of content that is divided into multiple ambiences.

Museum of Food

The "Mediterranean Food Museum" will be located in the very center of Sibenik's historic city center, between the streets of Andrija Kačić Miošić and Stubo Dragojević, a few dozen meters away from the cathedral's urbanistic and architectural complex. James, the Queen's Palace and the Town Halls. It is located in the basement of the existing building block of buildings (former timber storage) and the ground floor of the garden area which is located below the existing building.

By realizing this project, this location would become a "mandatory" station on a pedestrian connection that begins at the cathedral and continues through the streets of the old town to the fortress of St. Mihovila continued. With its content it becomes so-called. "Checkpoint" (additional tourist offer) to visitors where they can learn about Dalmatian tradition and life in the Mediterranean.

The "Mediterranian Food of the Museum" is a presentation center where you can go walking, touring and tasting Dalmatian dishes along with accompanying contents (education, souvenir shopping ...) that complement the Šibenik experience.

This project represents an example of additional contents of Sibenik's tourist offer. The story of this gourmet attraction is based on the experience of traditional Dalmatian lunch. The concept adapted to the organization of the enclosed spaces of the basement of the existing residential building that are laid in the northwest-southeast direction in this order in order to safely walk through the building.

Going through the area and tasting visitors are informed about the customs, roaming and vacations to continue visiting other tourist attractions and historical sights. The idea behind this project is to revitalize the medieval Sibenik, who during all the war had to have all the contents within the walls, which were forgotten in time.

House Zen

FAMILY HOUSE materialized with group of volumes is located on the outer side of the edge of the perimeter of old city walls. It was built on a specific building block with an exit to the street and a cramped part of the unobtrusive views of the street, several different ambiences and relationships with the surrounding area. It is organized in three volumes, creating introverted and intimate courtyards at the same time, and open planks according to the Sibenik bay and beach visas, while elevating the quality of life to a higher level.

MEDITERRANEAN - spatial organization, using materials characteristic of the Dalmatian landscape and creating modern ways of using common spaces, was to create a new Mediterranean identity in a dense urban space.

ZEN - Accompanying scenarios in the use of yard space raise awareness and equalize the importance of indoor and outdoor space. Careful design and selection of material, regardless of dense construction and dialogue with neighboring objects, entering this family circuit feels the severity of the outside world, finds intimacy and establishes mental balance.
